Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of VowSnaps. The short version: you pay once, you own your wedding content, we host it for the stated window, and you have 14 days to ask for a refund if it is not right for you. The detail is below.

1. The agreement

By creating an account or using vowsnaps.com you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account. Your wedding page link and QR code are deliberately open — anyone holding them can view the page and contribute — so share them with the guests you want, and tell us promptly if you believe your account itself has been accessed by someone else.

You may share your account access with a wedding planner or coordinator working on your behalf. You remain responsible for what they do in your account.

3. What you are buying

VowSnaps Complete is a one-time purchase of $79.99 USD for a single wedding. It includes every feature we advertise at the time of purchase: the wedding website, QR code, photo and video gallery, guestbook, invitation replies, seating chart, moderation controls, and live venue slideshow.

  • No subscription. There is no recurring charge and no renewal.
  • Upload allowance. Up to 2,000 photo and video uploads, with a 12-month upload window that begins on your event date.
  • File limits. Individual photos up to 25 MB and videos up to 95 MB.
  • Guests are free. There is no per-guest charge and guests never pay or create accounts.
  • One wedding. A purchase covers one wedding page. Additional weddings require additional purchases.

Before paying, every account gets a full read-only preview of the product using sample wedding data, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If VowSnaps is not right for your wedding, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. If we ever discontinue the service before your wedding date, we will refund you.

5. Your content

You own your wedding content. Photos, videos, guestbook notes, and wedding details remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate your wedding page — for example resizing an image for the gallery or showing it on the venue slideshow. This licence exists only to run the service and ends when the content is deleted. We do not use your content for marketing without your explicit permission, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

6. Guest uploads

Guests upload content directly to your page. You control it: you can enable approval-first moderation so nothing appears until you approve it, and you can delete any upload at any time.

As the account holder you are responsible for the content on your page. If a guest uploads something inappropriate or something a person objects to, you should remove it. We may also remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VowSnaps to:

  • Upload unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit material.
  • Infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
  • Upload malware or attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or present the service as your own product.
  • Use the service for anything other than a genuine event, or to circumvent upload limits.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach this section.

8. Storage and availability

Your content is hosted for the storage period described at purchase. Download your photos and videos before the window ends — after the retention period and backup rotation we cannot restore them.

We work to keep VowSnaps available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party provider outages, and events beyond our control can cause downtime. VowSnaps is not a backup service: keep your own copy of anything irreplaceable.

9. Termination

You may stop using VowSnaps and request deletion of your account and content at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or creates risk for other users, and we will make reasonable effort to notify you first unless doing so is unsafe or unlawful.

10. Disclaimers and liability

VowSnaps is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that content will never be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to VowSnaps is limited to the amount you paid us — for VowSnaps Complete, $79.99. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost photographs, lost profits, or wedding-day disruption. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and material changes will be communicated to account holders where appropriate. Changes do not retroactively alter what was included in a purchase you already made.
