GuestPix vs GuestCam: the short answer

GuestPix Classic and GuestCam Standard both show a US$49 one-time price. At that price, GuestCam documents six months for uploads versus GuestPix Classic's three; both list 12 months of storage or hosting. GuestPix includes digital invitations with RSVPs and a written and video guestbook. GuestCam includes web and PhoneBooth audio guestbook features. Those are different tools, not evidence that one service is universally better.

Disclosure: this comparison is published by VowSnaps, a competing wedding photo-sharing service, and authored by its founder, Brandon King. It is documentation-based research, not an independent hands-on test. We checked the vendors' public pricing, help pages and terms on October 10, 2026. We did not purchase plans, upload wedding photos or test speed, reliability or guest participation. Source links appear beside the relevant sections.

This page compares the two named services, not a scored ranking. If you are still deciding how a QR gallery fits into the day, start with our guide to collecting wedding guest photos.

Prices below are the advertised US-dollar prices checked on October 10, 2026, not a checkout quote. GuestPix offers other currencies; we selected USD rather than converting them. GuestCam's terms specify US dollars unless otherwise agreed and say applicable sales tax may be added. GuestPix's terms say listed prices include applicable taxes and charges. Verify your currency, tax and final total before paying.

GuestCam displayed US$55 and US$110 crossed out beside the current US$49 and US$97 prices. We do not assume those reductions are permanent. GuestPix advertised unlimited Super Albums as a limited-time offer on Signature and Signature Bundle; Classic's Super Albums line was crossed out. Confirm that offer before relying on it.

The Bundle clock deserves attention if you buy early: its pricing card says hosting starts on the purchase date, not the wedding date. GuestPix also says galleries open two weeks before the event. GuestCam explicitly says its upload and storage windows begin on the event start date. Upload time and storage time are separate: a gallery may remain available after new uploads close.

What unlimited does—and does not—mean

GuestPix advertises unlimited photos and videos on the paid wedding plans, but the pricing footnote says the unlimited offer is subject to its Fair Use Policy and allows up to 1,000 guests per event, with custom packages for larger events. Its storage help page lists Classic at 200GB, Signature at 400GB and Signature Bundle at 400GB. The Bundle entry does not clearly say whether that allowance is per gallery or across the bundle; ask GuestPix if your decision depends on that distinction.

GuestPix's upload help page describes about 4GB or 100 files at one time and says the 4GB limit also applies to the total size of one batch. That is an upload-batch limit, not the entire gallery allowance. The storage page refers to fair use but does not spell out every exception or possible overage outcome; ask support before planning an unusually large collection.

GuestCam advertises unlimited guests, photos and videos on both paid plans. Its file-limit page sets a 20MB maximum per photo and 9.8GB per video, explicitly distinguishing those from total uploaded data. We did not find a numeric total-storage allowance in the GuestCam pricing, file-limit page or terms we reviewed. That is not a promise of unrestricted use: its terms still prohibit unlawful content, interference with the service and circumventing restrictions.

For either service, compare your actual files with the documented limits before buying—especially large still images or long video clips. Estimate your wedding photo storage needs separately from the length of time a vendor hosts the gallery.

Downloads, privacy controls and keeping your files

Both services document original-quality downloads and a host ZIP export. GuestPix says its ZIP includes original photos and videos plus guestbook messages in a CSV file. GuestCam's pricing page says it stores the original uploaded file and returns that file when downloaded. These are vendor specifications, not results from our own download tests.

Guest downloads are permission-based, not an unconditional right to everyone else's photos. GuestPix lets the host enable individual downloads and a gallery ZIP; the host must also generate the ZIP before guests can access it. GuestCam says guests can download when the host allows it. Its permissions guide documents upload-only/view-only settings, guest download controls, moderation and a gallery password. GuestPix's paid plan cards also list content moderation.

Download and back up the files before the hosting or storage window ends. GuestPix expressly advises downloading before hosting expires. GuestCam's paid plans provide access for the stated storage window. We did not verify a guaranteed grace period, recovery service or fixed extension price for either vendor, so do not plan around one. A guest download button also does not replace permission from the photographer or people pictured to republish images.

Extras that can change the wedding budget

GuestPix Classic includes one digital invitation with RSVPs, a default color theme, photo/video slideshow, and written and video guestbook. Signature adds custom colors and fonts, the longer upload window and the advertised Super Albums offer. Signature Bundle provides three separate galleries and three QR codes/invitations. Do not treat albums inside a gallery as interchangeable with separate event galleries.

GuestCam Standard includes unlimited sub-galleries, a live slideshow, web and PhoneBooth audio guestbook, editable Canva templates and original-quality ZIP download. Premium adds six main galleries, 30 premium color themes, advanced collaborator controls and a dial-in audio guestbook number. Its six main galleries are advertised within one event, not six separately priced events.

GuestCam lists MagicFind face search at an optional US$45 per event and a dedicated audio guestbook phone number at US$30 per event, available for US and Canadian numbers only. The dedicated number is listed separately from Premium's included dial-in feature; do not assume they are the same entitlement. More main galleries and custom guest-portal logo/colors are quote-based. We found no comparable fixed-price add-on menu on the GuestPix wedding pricing page reviewed.

GuestPix also advertises a free gallery with 50 photos, unlimited guests, an invitation/RSVP feature and a 30-day upload window. That is not the paid Classic plan or a substitute for the paid video and hosting allowances in the table. We did not sign up for either service.

Which plan fits your wedding?

For one gallery at the advertised entry price, compare GuestPix Classic's invitation/RSVP and written/video guestbook features with GuestCam Standard's longer upload window and audio guestbook features. Both have a documented 12-month hosting or storage window; check your file sizes and preferred guest experience rather than choosing on the tied price alone.

For a year of uploads, GuestPix Signature is listed at US$89 and GuestCam Premium at US$97. Signature offers the invitation/RSVP workflow and current Super Albums promotion; Premium lists six main galleries and 14 months of storage. They are not feature-identical plans.

For several wedding-related events, GuestPix Signature Bundle explicitly offers three separate event galleries and 24 months of upload/hosting time, with hosting beginning at purchase. GuestCam Premium offers six main galleries within an event. Confirm how your rehearsal, wedding and later celebrations fit the vendor's event rules before treating gallery counts as equivalent.

There is no overall winner established by this documentation review. Choose the plan whose upload dates, storage rules, guestbook format and gallery structure match your wedding, then confirm the current total and download deadline. Before printing, use QR sign wording that tells guests what to do and check your finished QR code opens the intended gallery.
